Meet the Author
- About Anna Drake -
In real life, Anna* lives on a 15-acre horse farm in Chester County, Pennsylvania with her own lesson program and fifteen horses! She doesn't have a cattle dog named Jack, but she does have a mutt named Maggie and a big gray horse that's a lot like Silver Bit.

Anna started riding when she was four years old and has loved horses ever since. The Sterling Hill Stables series is her first writing venture for adolescents. She has written and published over twenty books for adults.

When she isn't writing, teaching, or riding, Anna enjoys gardening. She isn't very good at it, but she tries hard and hopes her plants forgive her.
